2018 John Deere Classic PGA OAD Picks
Kevin Na shocked many as he putted lights out and won last week for his first PGA Tour victory in 7 years. Now, the tour heads to the John Deere Classic for another Web.com meets PGA Tour event as we are one week away from The Open Championship. We have another 156 man field with the top 70 and ties making the weekend. Last week, all 4 guys had players make the cut and the standings didn’t change at all. With such an odd field and the most of the big guns playing in Europe this week, lets see who the guys like to win with the 2018 John Deere Classic PGA OAD Picks.
|Last Week’s Earnings||$16,060||$197,100||$247,470||$197,100|
|Last Week’s Player||Brian Harman||Russell Henley||Joaquin Niemann||Russell Henley|
|This Week’s Pick||Bryson DeChambeau||Steve Stricker||Zach Johnson||Joaquin Niemann|
Rob- Steve Stricker – Age is just a number and Stricker is my guy this week. Course horse until he’s 100 here. I’m not going to use Stricker the rest of the year and Moli might be an option later. Short, sweet, Stricker owns this course and has never truly had a hot putter in a tournament where he has finished top 5 twice.
Jesse- For the John Deere Classic I will be taking Zach Johnson. He shows up very high, typically first, on all the course history models I have looked at, and he is playing pretty good golf right now. I’m not sure how much I will use him in DFS because of his price there, so this is a very small hedge as well.
Bubba- Russell Henley’s big Sunday really helped out as I held onto 1st place and will look to ride that wave again. I’ll be going with the young stud who earned his PGA Tour card this past week and hopefully picks up that first win this week. I’ll be going with Joaquin Niemann.
