See who the guys like to win this week at Augusta with the Masters PGA OAD Picks.

2018 The Masters PGA OAD Picks

The Houston Open is in the books. Another great tournament where we saw some big names up top, with some others many may not know. The highlight of the week may have been Ian Poulter winning in the playoff to qualify for the Masters. Now let’s get to the Masters. One of the greatest tournaments all year. We have an extremely small field of 87, with the cut being top 50 and within 10 strokes of the lead. We could see a lot making the cut and some interesting winners this week. Now let’s see who the guys like this week.

Jesse- So last week was about as bad as it could be.  Stricker was well inside the cut before a terrible round Friday that saw him miss by 1 shot.  Getting $0 hurts, but onward we move.  This week I will be using Tiger Woods.  I’m not playing him much in DFS, so I will hedge a bit in case he finds his 2005 Masters form.  I’m sure you know about how well he plays here.  So let’s go Tiger!

Rob- Alexander Noren – The Swede has been in good form over the past month, starting with the Honda. He’s gained at least 2.9 strokes off the tee in each tournament in 2018 and wrapped up a third place finish at the Match Play in Austin. His missed cut last year will hurt his ownership and that’s the angle I’m attacking. I’d be all over Justin Rose in this situation, but have to look elsewhere. If Noren’s putter can get hot, his approach game is awesome. He ranks seventh in Par 5 SG in his last 12 events and sits tenth in bogey avoidance over his last 36 rounds.

Bubba- I will be trying to improve on my second place position this week by playing one of the hottest golfers on tour. No I won’t be going Justin Rose (already used him), no I won’t be going Spieth or Woods or DJ. Instead I’ll be going with another young gun who has struggled at Augusta, but last year got the Majors Monkey off his back, took down the Fed Ex Cup and is ready for Augusta. He is second in Par 5 scoring and that is where you need to feast at the Masters. I will be playing Justin Thomas and I look forward to Sergio putting the Green Jacket on him Sunday afternoon.
