CBB Plays for November 28th
I’m back again to talk some more CBB plays for tonight’s slate. Plenty of games on tonight and some really good matchups such as UNC @ UM and Cuse @ Ohio State. Our only play yesterday covered easily with Nevada just blowing Loyola Chicago out. There wasn’t much I liked at first glance for tonight, but after seeing some line movements and looking deeper I have two plays I like.
Syracuse +5.5 @ Ohio State: This should be one of the better games of the night and Ohio State once again under Chris Holtman is a surprise team who already owns two quality road wins over UC and Creighton. I think the Buckeyes win this game as well, but 5.5 is too much to give. Syracuse has such a good defense and plays slow and ugly that this game should be tight all game. I think Syracuse’s length really gives Ohio State problems on the perimeter and they may struggle getting to the rim which is what they want to do. Ohio State does not want to have to take a lot of threes, but against Cuse this may happen which is another reason I like the Cuse to stay inside the number. I would get on the 5.5 right away though as I could see this moving to 5-4.5.
Florida State -3.5 vs Purdue: This should be another great high level game between two pretty good teams. This was one of the only games I had any interest first looking through and now that the line has dropped I like FSU even more. They are extremely better at home and I don’t see why this line is only 3.5. FSU is a better team than Purdue and they are at home. To me this line should be closer to 5 or 6. Purdue is tough don’t get wrong, Carsen Edwards can flat out score. I think Purdue will really struggle with FSU’s defensive pressure and how athletic and long they are. I think you see that be the main difference in this game as FSU will scrap its way to a decent victory. I just don’t see Purdue being able to hang in a physical game for 40 minutes. Take the Seminoles
YTD Record: 3-1
