MLS DFS Preview 5/6
The MLS gives us a nice 6 game slate Saturday night with a lot of superstars and cheap value players to choose from. Week 10 features a great lineup of games including a rematch of the 2016 championship, Seatlle vs. Toronto, another chance for Philly to get a win and Dallas looks to continue their unbeaten season.
I will breakdown some options you will want to consider when building a winning lineup for tonight and give you some winning picks for this week’s games.
Goalkeeper of the Night
Luis Robles, New York Red Bulls, $4700 – I like playing keepers with the best chance to grab a W in daily play and this Red Bull team should destroy the lowly Philadelphia Union to push for a top spot in the eastern conference. The Union are currently riding a 15 game winless streak. Robles had a 3 game win streak come to end this past Wednesday vs Sporting KC, Robles was still impressive making 6 saves. The Red Bulls along with their Keeper have a great chance to get started on another winning streak vs. Philly Saturday night.
Keegan Rosenberry, Philadelphia Union, $4000 – The Union have been a disaster this year and are looking at a possible coaching change if the club doesn’t start grabbing points the next few weeks. Rosenberrry has been one of the most consistent player when it comes to fantasy production. The Union defender will post a respectable stat line and allow you to go after top priced guys at other key positions.
Scott Sutter, Orlando City SC, $4900 – Sutter and Orlando failed to get a point on the road in Toronto, falling 2-1. Sutter has posted double digit fantasy points in four straight matches. He finished against Toronto with 8 crosses along with winning 6 tackles.
Justin Meram, Columbus Crew, $7800 – The Crew host a inconstant New England team that has tons of woes on the defensive side of the ball, the Revs have conceded 8 goals in the last 4 games. Meram so far seems to be the liveliest midfielder the crew have. He’s been known as a provider through his career but this season he’s found his scoring touch, netting 4 goals already this season. The Crew won the last two match last season by combine score of 4-0, I like the Crew Saturday with Meram on the scoresheet.
Romain Alessandrini, LA Galaxy, $11500 – Alessandrini continues to be the Galaxy’s best player, he has been in excellent form lately scoring 2 goals in his last four matches. The Galaxy have a chance to right the ship this Saturday vs. Bastian Schweinsteiger and the Chicago Fire, they will need Alessandrini to play a major role tonight for the Galaxy to grab some points.
Top Scoring option
Cyle Larin, Orlando City SC, $8500 – Larin leads Orlando into Texas off a 2-1 defeat to Toronto in the midweek slate. Larin will be able to push around a mediocre Houston Dynamo defense that’s seems to have major mental lapses a few times a game. This will be to the highest scoring game of the weekend which in turn I expect one of the league’s best strikers to find the back of the net a few times in Texas.
