NHL 2-play November 14th Card

Season Record: 32-31-4 (-2.28u)

We got a second sweep yesterday going 2-0-1. Today we have a small slate, with four games today, we will be hitting two bets today. The Winnipeg Jets square off against the Washington Capitals. Winnipeg Jets reg (Ev) is the first bet on the card. The Jets at home, as mentioned before, have been a red-hot team. This season, they have a 7-1-1 home record, all had their wins but one were in regulation. The Washington Capitals, on the other hand, have the end of a B2B as they played in Minnesota yesterday and outplayed the Wild, winning 5-2. The Capitals on a B2B have not been a popular team, as they have lost the 2nd leg of a B2B twice this year. The interesting the note, was that both games went over 5.5. The capitals this year, are on of the popular over teams this year. On the road, the over 6.5 is 5-1-1, and the Jets over 6.5 at home is 5-5-0. The total looked very interesting, but Winnipeg at home is a hard bet to pass up on. The second bet is Blackhawks over 6 (-110). As mentioned before plenty of times, when these two teams face-off against one another, the game tends to be a high-scoring game. The Blues TT is a very popular bet when the two teams go head to head, as it has gone over in 9 of the last 10 games. I do like the bet, but will not take the bet as it is hanging (-167) juice for the TT over 2.5. This is a good indication that we will see goals, but the Blackhawks on the otherhand, are heading home after a 2-game road trip, and look to snap a 8-game losing streak. They will come out desperate today, and will look to take advantage of Jake Allen’s poor GAA vs the Blackhawks, as he has allowed a total of 47 goals in 17 games (avg of 2.67). I feel Allen will struggle tonight, and give up 3 goals minimum to the Blackhawks. If recent history holds correct, we will see 6+ goals tonight.
