NHL DFS Stacks 3/22
The NHL gives us a solid 10 game slate tonight with several matchups with Stanley Cup playoff positioning on the line.
Here are 3 teams to stack in tonights NHL DFS action.
Colorado Avalanche – The Avs look to stay red hot as they welcome the Los Angeles Kings to town in a pivotal show down on Thursday night. Hart Trophy candidate Nathan MacKinnon ($8000) is riding a 13 game point streak and is the main reason Colorado holds down the top wild card spot. Line mates Gabriel Landeskog ($6100) and Mikko Rantanen ($7000) have produced at high level with MacKinnon at the center helm. Landeskog has 56 points on the season with Rantanen posting 79 points. On the blue line Tyson Barrie ($6300) has notched 15 points during a 11 game point streak. The Kings have dominated the series but at home in Colorado I like the first line of the Avs getting the job done tonight.
Columbus Blue Jackets – The Jackets moved into third place in the Metropolitan Division with their ninth straight victory Tuesday, a 5-3 triumph against the New York Rangers. They host the Panthers who the Jackets have won the last 3 matchups against. Left winger Artemi Panarin ($7200) registered his first hat trick with Columbus on Tuesday and has 22 of his team best 68 points in the last 16 games. Center Nick Foligno ($4900) has posted 5 assist in his last 3 games. 3rd line winger Thomas Vanek ($4400) has points in 7 of his last 8 games.
Philadelphia Flyers – The Flyers need to build some momentum heading towards the postseason after they saw an opportunity at a three game winning streak go by the wayside in a 5-4 SO loss at Detroit Tuesday night. The Flyers host the Rangers tonight as they cling to the top wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. 1st line center Sean Couturier ($6700) has 7 points in his last 5 contest. Winger Jakub Voracek ($6300) has netted 5 goals along with 5 assist in his last 10 games. On the blue line Shayne Gostisbehere ($6100) has 5 points while averaging 2 shots a game in the last 5 contest.
