NHL DFS Stacks 3/26
It’s Monday and we have a solid 9 game NHL slate to help cure your elite 8 hangover. With just two weeks to go a lot of teams are fighting for playoff positioning and some teams are trying to stay hot going in to the postseason.
Here are 3 teams to stack in tonight’s DFS action.
San Jose Sharks – The Sharks recorded its seventh consecutive win on Saturday, a 5-1 victory over Calgary that completed a perfect three game home stand that pulled them within six point from the top seeded Vegas Knights with seven games to go. Defender Brent Burns ($7200) can anchor any lineup on the blue line in tonight’s action. In three games last week Burns posted 5 points along with 13 shots on goal. Center Joe Pavelski ($6400) also is coming of a great week capping it off with a point on 5 shots in the win vs, Calgary. 2nd line winger Tomas Hertl ($5100) is at a nice price with 9 points in his last 10 games.
LA Kings – The Kings will attempt to claw back into a playoff spot in the Western Conference when they host the Calgary Flames tonight. LA, trails Anaheim by two points for third place in the Pacific Division and is even with St. Louis for the second wild card with the Blues having a game in hand. I’m going cheap on the Kings tonight targeting 2 guys on the second line that are coming off great performances when the club needs it the most. Center Jeff Cater ($5700) has seen a rise in his Ice time in the last week and has made the most of his opportunities. Cater has tallied 5 points in his last 4 games along with 10 shots in that span. Winger Tanner Pearson ($4300) notched 2 assist with 3 shots in their last contest in Edmonton.
Toronto Maple Leafs – The Leafs can break two franchise records and extend their already all time-best home winning streak to 14 games when they host the NHL worst Buffalo Sabers tonight. Winger Mitch Marner ($6100) is riding an 8 game point streak during which he has netted 3 goals and 8 assists to increase his team-leading total to 64 points. William Nylander ($5400) has recorded 3 goals in his last 4 contests. On the Blue line Morgan Rielly ($5700) has notched 11 assists in his last 8 games.
