Canucks over 5.5 (-118)
- Quick Write-up
- Leafs and The Canadiens are both teams on opposite ends. One team is in rebuild, one team is poised to win the Stanley Cup. The Maple Leafs enter this game, with if not one, of the deepest lines in the Eastern Conference. 3 Centers that can produce up to 50+ points, and can win faceoffs. This team also carries a ton of talent, but does lack strength and grit, which Montreal has. Montreal will be a scrappy team this year, and will compete (As any other team will), but Montreal lacks the depth the Maple Leafs do, as they are using Max Domi has a Centre, who has not played Centre since his time in the juniors. This will cost them, as the Leafs will be dominating puck possession. Take the more dominant side, with the Leafs -1.5, as I expect a 5-2 scoreline for todays game.
- Vancouver and Calgary, two teams who in H2H matchups always have goals. Both teams are full of youngsters and players who are on the rise in the NHL. This will be one fun and entertaining game to watch. The edge does go to the Calgary Flames here, with their depth in Forwards and Defenseman and a better goalie than the Canucks. I would be backing the Flames here (But they are not at home) and the Canucks find ways to show up. There are no expectations for these kids, except to go out and do their best. This team will put up 2 or 3 goals on Mike Smith and I expect the Flames to be in this game throughout. Take the Over 5.5, as I think this score will be 4-3 (Either way).
