Saturday Night October 6th NHL plays

Season Record 3-2-1 (+1 unit)

Took the day off on Friday, as a 2-game slate did not peak my interest. I was leaning the Blue Jackets, but they did not show up. Today, we got a great and entertaining NHL Slate, as there are tons of games, and a ton of games hanging the total of 6. Digging into these games, the ones I chose over 6 is because of the versatility of both teams. Leafs/Sens games tend to be high scoring, and Ottawa did show up on their home opener, and the Leafs did look rather disappointing getting outworked by Montreal, but I see that changing tonight. Leafs will dominate the Sens, score 4 goals on them easily (We won’t be needed an empty netter to count on this total), so lets hit that TT Over 3.5, and Cash. Tampa Bay v. Florida this is a very small write-up and seems like an “average joe” writeup, but these games are always high scoring. Both teams are full of young and upcoming talent, and I expect, Kucherov/Stamkos to both tally 2 points tonight, and Barkov to tally atleast 1.Jets and Stars, both teams came out flying in their season openers. Jets score 5 goals on a strong Blues team, showing their dominance across the lineup. As well, Dallas Stars impressed, winning 3-0 against the Coyotes. I did expect more goals from them, but still a strong outing on their home opener. Flames write-up is very similar to what i mentioned on their season opener, they are a young talented team, and I would have taken them 100% if they were at home, but thankfully I did not, as they got beat. Now I have the opportunity to do this, and will do so. Vegas and Minnesota, the Golden Knights looked terrible in their home opener, their defense did not hold out and is not the same from last year. Minnesota on the other hand, a team that added players to improve their defensive style of game. I’ll take this opportunity to take the Wild, especially after the no show from Vegas.

Leafs TT over 3.5 (-135)
Tampa Bay Over 6 (-125)
Jets over 6 (-105)
Wild ML (-115)
Flames Reg (-125)

  • On a side note. I will be tailing: @S_D_MMA today on UFC. Big fight and I am happy taking the side of Khabib.
