Thursday Night Round Table (NBA/NFL Sports Betting)

Here we are, it’s Thursday night and we are loaded with action in all the major sports. We went 2-3 last night in NBA with a bad beat on the Sacramento game at +8.5 but hey, it happens! I have been monitoring line movement all day and some have moved nicely into some spots we need to fire on right away! Let’s dive in!

NBA ACTION

Boston Celtics -9.5

Ok, the Celtics have struggled lately but has struggled more than the Phoneix Suns? Not many! Phoenix has lost 8 of 9 and have absolutely no depth at all, I believe Bostons 2nd unit will be the key to this game and a easy cover for the Celtics!

Portland Trailblazers -4.5

Listen, the Moda Center is one of, if not, the toughest places in the NBA to win. I can see this being a closely contested match until the 4Q when Dame Lillard does Dame Lillard things. Portland will cover with last minute FTs.

Golden State Warriors -5 AND u240.5

This is a BIG TIME game!! These are two of the best teams in the league right now and both teams will actually be playing defense. This is one of those games where teams like to see just how good they really are and for the Milwaukee Bucks… they are going to come away dissapointed. I expect GS to bring the Bucks back to reality after a very good start to the season. The Bucks may be a top 2 or 3 team in the East but they will be no match for the defending champions!

NFL ACTION

Carolina Panthers +4

Just for the record, I’m a Panthers fan! DIEHARD! But, let me also say, I never bet with my heart and tonight isn’t any different. Both of these teams have been playing at an elite level the past few weeks. Pittsburghs defense has played much better as of late but Carolinas offense has been clicking at high level. I think if Carolina wins the battle in the trenches and can keep pressure on Big Ben, they will win the game. If they let Ben escape the pocket and extend plays to keep drives going and get touchdowns instead of field goals, Pittsburgh will win a close one. My prediction, 27-24 Steelers.

NBA Record: 2-3 -1.2 units
